The Zeiss Mirror Coating Family

Combining fashion, fun and a unique look, the Zeiss mirror coatings can be applied on clear, photochromic, solid and gradient tinted lenses, plano and Rx. Carat® Cool Silver, Carat® Cool Gold and Carat® Cool Blue feature Zeiss Foundation Super Hard Coating and Clean Coat. They have the same reliability as well-known Zeiss anti-reflective coatings.

Cool Gold

Golden mirror reflex on the front surface, Gold ET on the back surface.




Cool Silver

Silver mirror reflex on the front surface, Super ET® on the back surface.




Cool Blue

Blue mirror reflex on the front surface, Super ET® on the back surface.



IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Mirror Coatings are recommended for tinted lenses. The application of Mirror Coatings to clear, photochromic or lightly tinted lenses can result in increased reflections towards the eye and may not be suitable for certain activities
(e.g. night driving).
