number one material to use. Trivex is the lightest
weight material, has exceptional strength, excellent
optics, and chemical resistance, and is the

material guaranteed not
to crack or fail. Many lens styles are available and
these can be made in clear, tinted and Transitions as
well as being AR coated.
Polycarbonate and 1.67 are also materials that are
suitable for these types of mounts. K Optical strongly
recommends choosing frames with plug compression mounts
over screw mounts as your patients will have less
problems over the life of the Rx. K-Optical offers

excellent value. Due to our usage of custom software,
we are also able to modify shapes to create custom
rimless designs.
