BLU Protek
Stacks Image 60

BLU Protek is K Optical’s new lens blank technology that filters harmful blue light and UV light at a molecular level. This technology provides the highest level of blue light protection while maintaining a clear lens color, unlike other lenses on the market that use AR technology that is cosmetically unappealing and only 20% effective and has a yellow or orange cast.

Lenses made with BLU Protek technology allow beneficial blue-turquoise light to pass through the lens while filtering out harmful blue-violet light and 100% of UV light. Blue-violet light exposure is linked to Digital Eye Strain, AMD and abnormal sleeping patterns.

BLU Protek offers more comprehensive blue light protection than blue light anti-reflective coatings.
